xBloom Inline Water Pressure Regulator

Overview The xBloom Studio has a built-in water tank, but it also supports an external water connection via a 1/4″ OD tube at the bottom of the machine. If your water source is non-pressurized (for example a large jug or canister sitting below or beside the machine), you can connect a tube directly without any additional hardware. But if you want to plumb the Studio into a pressurized line, such as your home water supply or a dedicated filtration system, this inline pressure regulator is required. It steps down the incoming water pressure to a level the Studio’s internal pump can handle safely. When you need it (and when you don’t) You need this regulator if you are connecting the xBloom Studio to any pressurized water source: a mains supply tap, an under-sink reverse osmosis system, or any plumbed filtration setup that delivers water under pressure. xBloom explicitly warns against connecting to a pressurized system without it, as the unregulated pressure can damage the machine’s internal components. You do not need it if you are using the built-in water tank or connecting to a gravity-fed, non-pressurized source like a water jug with a short tube (max 500 mm / 19 inches). Installation The kit comes with quick-connect fittings, so no special plumbing tools are needed. You connect your pressurized supply to the regulator’s inlet, run one of the included tubes from the regulator’s outlet to the Studio’s water inlet port at the bottom of the machine, and then switch the Studio to “water inlet” mode by holding the right knob for 3 seconds on the main interface. xBloom recommends closing the regulator’s valve when the machine is not in use to prevent leaks, and inspecting the connections periodically for scale buildup or wear.
